What a great stay here. Despite endless rain and chilly days we found so much to do in the area—Keith and Glenda were terrific hosts, with lots of advice on places to go and things to do. Our cabin was cozy and just right for the three of us. There is good WiFi at the main house and access is fine for a standard rental car. No doubt a mountain bikers' paradise here.

Where do I start?! Amazing!!! We have visited Mostyn Cottage approximately 8 times in the last 2 years and have stayed in the cottage itself and the cabins. We have never met such lovely professional and helpful hosts. Glenda and Keith are fantastic people and are also mountain bike and running enthusiasts who are just so knowledgeable about the area, history, mountain biking and trails as both are qualified mtb guides. The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean with tastful decor...and the log cabins are also stunning and contain everything you need. We have visited as a couple, a family group and a lads mtb break. If you stay in the cottage you are provided with a brekky fit for a king...the log cabins are self catering. We have loved staying in both. Set in the heart of the forest surrounded by the trails which run past the cottage and the magnificent river opposite with stunning waterfalls and the Clogau gold mine just up the road. Beautiful scenery in all weathers...amazing owners and their gorgeous pet dog 🧡 and they cannot do enough for you. This is why we return many times throughout the year and will continue to do so forever and a day. We cannot recommend this beautiful cottage enough!

We have just enjoyed our fifth visit! Once again Keith and Glenda were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, accomodating and great hosts. We love being in the middle of the forest, no travelling unless by bike. Perfect location! Great value for money and we can't wait to return! Oh and there’s cake! Thank you both! Xxx

The lady that owns Mostyn Cottage is not a pleasant individual and only cares about money. She was overheard aggressively dictating her views to passers by, and does not possess an ounce of any professionalism or friendliness that you would expect with the price tag her cottages come with. There are far better places to stay in Gwynedd for a fraction of the price.

Just back from an excellent mountain biking trip to Coed y Brenin. Keith and Glenda are excellent and attentive hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Their knowledge of the local area, coupled with the facilities they offer make this an ideal biking/walking destination. The accommodation was superb, the rooms modern and the food gorgeous. They have thought about everything a mtb group will need. The setting is awesome, straight out the front door and on to the trails......with great views of the gorge below. Its peaceful yet in the middle of the action. Taxis to the local town were reasonable. All in all a fantastic place and can't wait to go back.

Great place to stay, fantastic hosts, and I will return soon, only gripe would be the lack of Wi-Fi in the lodges, there is no phone signal there so Wi-Fi in the lodges would be a great help and so easy to provide.

Can't recommend this enough. Was treated to Glenda's awesome lemon drizzle cake. When we came back with soaked through gear, Glenda and Keith magically got it dry for us, overnight.

3 of us stayed in one of the lodges whilst we were there biking. The lodge is a brilliant set up, very clean, secure bike storage (which is important) and very comfortable. All the bike, running and walking trails are on the door step, literally! Keith and Glenda provided a home baked cake for our arrival which was delicious. They are both very nice people, very knowledgeable of the area and always willing to help out. I loved it so much I’m going back in 4 weeks with my wife and two dogs. Oh yes, and the lodges are dog friendly!!Just a note though, there is no mobile signal or WiFi in the lodges. We enjoyed the ‘off the grid’ time but if you’re dependant then you can head to the cottage lounge to get you fill. It’s only 20m away.

A very welcoming well placed B&B for mountain biking, a ride straight from the door out onto the trials.The hosts were Perfect and couldn't do enough to help. Both rooms very clean and comfortable, breakfast good and the chocolate cake after our ride was perfect. Defiantly first choice if we were to go back the Coed Y Brenin.
